Vanuatu await the winner of the last quarter-final after they blasted past the Netherlands in quarter-final three.
In the other quarter-finals, Nepal faced some stiff competition from a brave Bermuda who won on the Twitter vote, though the strength across Facebook was enough for the favourites to progress. Quarter-final two had the biggest voting numbers of the tournament thus far, as Germany and Jersey went toe-to-toe. Germany’s Facebook vote saw them through, as they booked the second semi-final spot.
In today’s fourth quarter-final, it’s Namibia taking on the Japanese U19 World Cup side.
Here is the tournament bracket, as we crunch eight into four!
The four quarter-final is upon us! Let’s take a look at both kits!
Namibia v Japan U19 World Cup
Namibia adopted a new-look after winning World Cricket League 2, and debunked the myths of a change of kit leading to a change of fortune after success also in the T20 World Cup Qualifier. A mostly light blue shirt, along with navy blue and red sleeves, Namibia enjoyed a successful 2019, qualifying for the men’s T20 World Cup.
Japan U19 World Cup 2020
“If you had one shot, or one opportunity…”
Look, Japan probably wasn’t thinking of Eminem when putting together their design for this year’s Under 19 World Cup kit, but it must be said they made the most of the chance of being showcased on a global stage.
Both their blue and reverse pink kits are worth throwing up, each gorgeous in their own right.
Hopefully the continued development means more Japanese national team action on our screens.
