Namibia’s U19 Trials set to continue

31 players that have been chosen for Cricket Namibia's third U19 trial phase.

Cricket Namibia has announced the players selected to continue to the third phase of the Namibia U19 men’s trials, set to form the men’s under-19 High-Performance program training squad.

Schedule

Players will undergo the high-performance programme, which consists of three stages. First, there will be training sessions commencing across the country next week with sessions occurring weekly, with U19 head coach Fortune Matawu overseeing the high-performance project, and content delivered across the county. The second stage of the high-performance programme includes a number of training camps that all players must be available for, with Cricket Namibia organising camps on the 12th, 13th & 14th March 2021 on a six-week rotational basis where the National men’s team consultants will develop the all-round skills of all players. Dates for the second camp are scheduled for the 23rd, 24th & the 25th of April 2021, with phase three a series of practice matches locked in for the 21st, 22nd & 23rd May 2021.
