Uganda women’s cricket training squad announced

Uganda women's training squad has been announced ahead of the ICC Africa T20 Qualifiers.

The Uganda Cricket Association has named its national women’s cricket training squad ahead of the upcoming ICC Africa T20 Qualifiers scheduled to take place in Botswana in October 2021.

The squad includes many recognisable names including Janet Mbabazi who recently spoke to Emerging Cricket about her excitement at seeing debutants Malawi Botswana and Cameroon take part in what promises to be a festival African women’s cricket. Alongside the three debutants, Namibia, Nigeria, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe will all be competing for the available places in the Qualifier.
