Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) has announced* provisional men’s international fixtures against Denmark and Scotland. The fixtures are the Netherlands’ first to follow the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Netherlands are set to host Denmark for two 50 over matches and one T20I from the 18th to the 20th of August. They will host Scotland for two T20Is and two ODIs between the 24th and 28th of August.
Meanwhile, while unable to complete any internationals, the junior sides will compete in intra-squad fixtures, whilst the women’s team will play against the boys’ Under-16 side.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Netherlands men’s team were due to host New Zealand for one T20I, Oman, USA and Namibia in an ODI quadrangular series. They were also scheduled 3 ODIs against Pakistan, the latter as part of the Cricket World Cup Super League. The Women’s team were set to travel to Sri Lanka for the Women’s World Cup qualifier prior to its postponement.
