Rain the winner on CWC Challenge League B Day 5

Hong Kong 170 for 7 (Wasif 39, Ross 2-25) abandoned v Italy after 45.3 overs.

Bermuda 230 for 7 (Manders 51, Rawlins 35, Onyango 3-35) abandoned v Kenya after 46.4 overs.

Both of Sunday’s games in the ICC Challenge League Group B taking place in Oman were abandoned as draws due to the rain. The heavens opened with Hong Kong 170/7 after 45.3 overs against Italy and Bermuda 230/7 after 46.4 vs Kenya. A long three hour wait to try to play the required 20 overs in the second innings proved vain with the umpires declaring both games abandoned at 15.40 local time.

Monday sees Italy taking on table leaders Uganda with Jersey playing Kenya in the other match.
