All the First Round T20 World Cup Kits

With less than three weeks until the first ball is bowled, excitement levels are building for the upcoming Men’s ICC T20 World Cup.

No doubt adding to the drama and colour to the competition with the play on the field, teams and their playing kits are a topic of debate amongst cricket tragics around the world. For Associates, the famous Dutch orange has adorned the World Cup, as has the Irish green and the dark blue of Scotland.

As they are announced, enjoy the fresh T20 World Cup kits that will light up your living room as you watch on television.

Bangladesh

Yet to be unveiled.

Ireland

Ireland have posted a video via social media of their kit (and alternate).

Namibia

One of the more unique T20 World Cup kits Namibia shifted to a lighter playing shirt for the T20 World Cup Qualifier back in 2019, though with partner IXU have opted for a mix of blue in blotches across.

Namibia make their T20 World Cup debut on October 18 against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi.

The Netherlands

Seemingly a darker orange to their kit from the qualifying came, the Dutch have also included a trio of horizontal stripes not too dissimilar to the Australian 2007 World Cup kit.

The Netherlands begin their World Cup campaign against October 18 against Ireland at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, in a match that could well dictate who progresses from Group A.

Oman

Yet to be unveiled.

Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea were the first Associates to roll out their kit to the public, before their early departure for Oman to compete in Cricket World Cup League 2. Using more shades of orange than previous kits, the scale of red to yellow is matched with black sleeves to bring the colours out further.

The Barramundis play the T20 World Cup curtain-raiser on October 18, against Oman.

Scotland

Scotland opened their kit design to the public through a competition, with the winning entry submitted by 12-year-old Rebecca Downie.

According to Cricket Scotland, the design was chosen from over 200 entries from school children across Scotland, and selected unanimously by the playing group who will take the field for the tournament.

As part of winning the competition, Rebecca, a keen cricketer, met Scotland’s World Cup playing squad and received the first of the design off the production line.

Sri Lanka

Yet to be unveiled.

Keep up with all the T20 World Cup kits as they come to hand!
