Richard Done presents Aaron Jones with an award at the 2021USA Men's National Championship
After nearly three years of service, Richard Done is out as the Operations Director for USA Cricket.
Emerging Cricket learned of the shocking news after an automatic email reply to an inquiry, stating “Dear sender, thank you for your email. Richard Done is no longer with USA Cricket as of December 16, 2022, and unfortunately can no longer answer your email. Pelase direct your inquiries to relevant individuals and departments as below. The reply went on to name Vinay Bhimjiani and Dhruv Barot as contacts for “Operations & General matters”.
Done, a former first class cricketer for New South Wales and Suffolk, has had an illustrious career in the sport. Prior to taking the job as USA Cricket Operations Director in early 2020, Done tallied over 15 years of professional coaching experience, and another 15 years as High Performance Manager at the ICC.
Requests for clarification on the nature of Done’s departure have not been returned by USA Cricket.
